This screen print was designed in collaboration with four of my fellow students; Kalgi Patel, Emma Hill, Pretty Dube, Michaela Mckenzie and myself. We combined our treasure inspired motifs and went through the process of designing a cut-through repeat print, to exposing a screen and printing. Our individual drawing styles made for a fun, busy and exciting print. Unfortunately certain sections of the screen didn’t expose so well, as we hadn’t used thick enough pens when tracing. It’s all a learning process! This fabric will now be used to make our final garments from.
